ANDA MEIO MUNDO A ENGANAR A OUTRA METADE. SUGIRO QUE VAMOS, DE FUTURO, DIRECTAMENTE ÀS FÁBRICAS. POUPAREMOS PARA COMPENSAR AQUILO QUE A TROIKA NOS SACA DO BOLSO. VAMOS EQUILIBRAR A NOSSA BALANÇA DE TRANSACÇÕES E TENHAM BONS SALDOS!

Sales Season is so interesting to analyse. I wrote a little something about it on the net some time ago.
Here comes the time when people want to "spare some money" after the intensive and compulsive Christmas expenses. Funny isn't it?
The trick is how can we save when spending, sooo much. I still do not understand. "Have you been to the Sales?" That is so fashionable! How can anybody live without being " sale-attracted"? Well, sorry, but I do.
I feel desperate when i look at these families, mainly low-income ones, already under the sea level on their bank accounts after the crazy gift spending for Xmas, now running in supermarkets or boutiques looking for the real bargain!! There they go each one with their 2 coats, 5 sweat-shirts, 4 shirts, 4 trousers and 3 pair of shoes.
Did they really buy what they needed? Did they really "save money"? I do not think so. Saving is just not spending. Or at least not that much!!
On the other hand we have the sellers. The ones who claim their discounts get close to "mill prices".But what mill are we talking about? What a jerk.
All famous brands have now their mills in Asia and should they discount 90% that they would still get their "big part"! Some sellers "inflates" their prices along the year to make a "discount" which is none. Some others buy products specially to sell them during Sales. Anything is possible.
Nonetheless the so-called "Sales" might be the only time when buyers and sellers agree on the true meaning of commerce. The real one. The one that makes both buyers and sellers happy, both convinced they did a good job!!
And that is what business is all about, isn't it?
